With this information we start to bring the shipment together. The first step might be to find one or two other horses to share the airstable, which is built to carry three horses usually or two in luxury. Once we have other horses confirmed we will book space with the airline and we will co-ordinate with your Vet what tests and vaccinations must be done and when. We will arrange for health certificates for the country of destination and any transit countries to be issued to the Vet in plenty of time to be completed prior to the departure of the horse from its stable.
Depending on the requirements of the country of destination we may have to arrange for your horse to complete a period of pre-export quarantine, either at his home stables or at a specially approved quarantine farm.
Customs documents will have to be prepared and arrangements made for the arrival of your horse in the country of destination.
